Emmerdale history[]
- 1952 - Zak Dingle is born.
- 1959 - Kim Barker is born.
- 1976 - Matt Skilbeck discovers his aunt and children have died.
- 1982 - Jackie Merrick discovers Jack Sugden is his biological father, not Tom Merrick as he had believed for the past 17 years.
- 1989 - Mark Hughes is found.
- 1993 - Seth Armstrong's wife, Meg, collapses.
- 1995 - First appearance of Emma Nightingale. Angharad McAllister slaps Hotten Comprehensive's headmaster, calling him a sanctimonious hypocrite when he sides with Tina Dingle when she claims Bernard McAllister touched her.
- 1999 - Kim Marchant flees Emmerdale with her son in order to avoid being arrested by police.
- 2004 - Charity Tate's trial takes place. Cain Dingle is sentenced to one month imprisonment for contempt when he protests her innocence when he's supposed to be testifying against her.
- 2010 - Sally Spode tries to prevent Ashley Thomas from reconciling with wife Laurel by standing in the path of his car. However, Ashley fails to see her and accidentally knocks her down.
- 2016 - Aaron Livesy collapses in the scrapyard and Robert Sugden takes him to hospital, where he is diagnosed with septicaemia as a result of his cut.
- 2017 - Aaron Dingle attacks Kasim Sabet and is later arrested for GBH.
- 2024 - Moira Dingle confesses to Charity Dingle that she killed Emma Barton in 2017. Nicola King tells her husband Jimmy King that their daughter Angelica King was driving the car when it crashed and killed Heath Hope.
