- 1934 - Betty Eagleton born.
- 1973 - First appearance of George Verney.
- 1974 - Frank Blakey, Janie Harker and Ruth Merrick leave the village.
- 1980 - Enid Pottle slaps Mick Ledder in front of The Woolpack customers when he says he tried to shoot her fox.
- 1991 - Amos Brearly retires; selling his part of The Woolpack to Alan Turner and moving to Skipdale.
- 1997 - Betty Eagleton storms out of her 63rd birthday party (after her partner Seth Armstrong mistakenly believes it's her 65th) and discovers Kelly Windsor and her teacher Tom Bainbridge kissing. Kelly runs away.
- 2004 - Charity Tate is sentenced to life imprisonment for the death of her husband Chris four months earlier.
- 2008 - Eli Dingle and Lily Butterfield are arrested for possession of drugs.
- 2019 - Cain Dingle is arrested on suspicion of the murder of Joe Tate.
- 2020 - In a flashback to 20th January, Charity Dingle and Vanessa Woodfield's plans to get married are ruined when Graham Foster locks Charity's son Ryan Stocks in a shed after he refuses to continue to help him steal money from Kim Tate's account. Charity and Ryan head out in the night to get back at him. Graham's falls over the edge of a bridge.
- 2024 - Chas Dingle discovers that she has triple-negative breast cancer.
