- 1997 - Rachel Hughes learns of her mother's death. First appearance of Tara Cockburn.
- 2005 - Jack Sugden disowns his son Robert. Marlon Dingle is selected for the pub chef contest.
- 2006 - Alice Dingle dies in a suicide assisted by her husband Sam.
- 2007 - When Eric Pollard refuses to pay Pearl Ladderbanks her wages, she and Duke Woods retaliate by throwing stones through Eric's windows. Eric calls the police and the pair are arrested. Chas Dingle and Lexi Nicholls go on a night out to an upmarket hotel. When they see a man named Colin McFarlane, they decide to have a bet - who can sleep with Colin. Chas wins the bet and her and Colin go to his room.
- 2008 - Grayson Sinclair attacks Katie Sugden. Paul Lambert witnesses this and a fight starts between Paul and Grayson, leading to the revelation that the pair slept together. Paul's shocked boyfriend Jonny Foster decides to leave the village. Miles De Souza leaves the village.
- 2017 - Lachlan White and his friend Gerry Roberts kidnap Lachlan's great-uncle Tim Richards.
- 2018 - On the anniversary of Alice Dingle and Cheryl Foster's deaths, Sam Dingle tells his son Samson the truth behind Alice's death. Samson goes missing but is found by Lydia Hart, who is accidentally pushed down the stairs by Samson. Later, Lydia is informed she may have cancer. Meanwhile, Graham Foster, haunted by flashbacks of Cheryl's death, goes on a bender; taking his anger out on Frank Clayton, clashing with Cain Dingle, almost hurting a pregnant Chas Dingle and brutally attacking Joe Tate, leaving him unconscious. Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle's engagement party takes place.
