Barry Hill was the manager at Hit 'n' Miss. Barry offered Sandie Merrick a job at Hit 'n' Miss in May 1982 and flirted with her. They began going out but Sandie was hurt when Barry stood her up. Barry lied to her that he had accidentally slept in and forgot to tell her but she soon worked out he was having a relationship with someone else and left him, also quitting her job at the same time.
