Connelton Primary School, formed in 1975, is a primary school in Connelton that the children of Emmerdale attend. Tess Harris was a teaching assistant at the school until her death in February 2016. In March 2015, Debbie Dingle mentioned that the former head teacher and former head of the Parent Teacher Association, had been having a long term affair behind both of their spouses backs. She mentioned that they also had been stealing money from the school for years so the school held a concert to boost the finances.
