DS Leana Pugh was the detective sergeant who investigated Chris Tate's suspected murder in September 2003. Chris's wife Charity was arrested and charged with his murder, and Pugh gave evidence in court in January 2004. Aside from this case, she also visited the Dingle family in December 2003 to search Wishing Well Cottage for the money they stole from the Home Farm safe. She was unable to find it as Shadrach Dingle had successfully managed to hide it.
