Plot[]

Vic and Donna go to a lot of effort to make Viv breakfast. Later in the shop, Viv complains of having a bad back, which Vic puts down to sleeping in Kelly's bed. He offers her half of the double bed and seems pleased when she agrees that that would be a good idea. The Dingles’ school bus company get off to a terrible start with the children unwilling to get on the bus, but when they eventually do, they direct Butch in the wrong direction to the school causing them to get lost. When Marlon finally realises where they were, the bus runs out of diesel and are stranded in the middle of nowhere with the children. Realising that they wouldn't get the bus contract now, Butch suggests that he call Zak at the Woolpack and ask him to tow them to the school. While Zak gloats at Albert's misfortune, Lisa goes to rescue the bus. Sarah comes into the shop to ask Viv if she has any idea why the boys and Donna are so late for school, prompting Viv to accuse Andy of leading Donna astray again, adding that she was surprised Social Services hadn't removed him from their care after the quarry incident. When Lisa finally tows the bus back to the village, an outraged Vic demands to know what the Dingles’ are playing at making the children late for school. They offer him a pint to make up for it, but he angrily refuses. A man arrives to put a "For Sale" sign up outside Mill Cottage. A furious Rachel heads off to Home Farm with Joseph to confront Chris about throwing his own son out onto the streets. Chris assures her again that Joseph could stay with him at Home Farm. Rachel tells Steve what Chris had done suggesting that she and Joseph should move in with him. Steve says his place is too small for her and Joseph, but he would contact her solicitor and find her some alternative accommodation. Eric takes Dee to an auction and return to the tea rooms disappointed that he had been in the toilet when a potentially profitable lot had come up but is pleasantly surprised when Dee reveals that she had bought it while he'd been away. Terry is in a reflective mood about his life with Zak whilst they share a pint. Linda is keen to know if Emma has come to the right decision to keep the baby, but Biff reminds her that it's none of their business. Linda retorts that it was their business because the baby would have died on the doorstep of the vets if she hadn’t been found. The nurse finds Emma at the baby unit staring at her baby and tells her not to torture herself over April, the name Emma has given the baby, after Emma reiterates that giving the baby away to a loving couple would be best all round. However, when Becky comes to collect her from the hospital she tells her mum that she has changed her mind. Becky is supportive and asks Emma if she was sure she was doing the right thing, reminding her that it would be hard work, but Emma is sure, adding that she is old enough to know that giving away your baby is wrong. The nurse tells a determined Emma and Becky in her office that it isn’t quite as simple as just bringing her home. She said that now it was up to the Social Services as to whether they could take the baby home as she had been put up for adoption, although she didn't see any problems if she could arrange a meeting for them as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Tony has been running and bumps into Ned and the two share a cup of coffee. Tony tells Ned that adopting the baby is for the best. When Emma and Becky return home, Tony tells Becky that they could put it all behind them. When she tells him that Emma’s changed her mind, Tony is furious, saying the baby would be adopted regardless as it's for the best, but Becky says that she can’t make Emma give up the baby and if he doesn’t want the rest of Emma's life to be scarred by the adoption being forced upon her, he would go along with his daughter's wishes.
