Plot[]

Roy is at Kelly's bedside in the hospital. He attempts to place the ring on Kelly's finger but immediately retrieves it from her. Donna, Viv, and Terry arrive at the hospital, but Donna, unable to bear the thought of Kelly helpless, rushes out of the corridor. Terry convinces Roy to take a nap, but only on the condition that Kelly is never left alone. Andy is adamant about not attending school. Andy does not want the torment at school about Kelly attempting suicide, but Jack convinces him to go. Donna confides in Terry about her fear and her conflicted feelings about Kelly. Chris Tate makes his way into the hospital room. Viv informs Chris that he was the one who ran the family into the ground and holds him accountable for his lack of concern for Kelly. Donna and Terry enter, and Chris feels uncomfortable and exits the hospital. Paddy desires that the secrets be revealed, but Mandy refuses. Paddy apologises, but they continue to argue over who was at fault. Paddy believes that if Mandy had confided in him, Kelly would not have attempted suicide. Mandy is then appalled by Paddy's behaviour when he suggests Kelly leave his business. Mandy exits the argument. Angie informs the Tate's that she has received information that the inquest has been rescheduled for the following week. Viv requests the tape Kelly made prior to attempting suicide. Scott informs her that he destroyed it. They are instructed to leave the room in hushed tones. Scott reveals what was recorded, claiming Kelly is blaming her. Viv responds by explaining to Scott that she has attempted to love Kelly and even apologised to her, but Kelly has never accepted her efforts. Viv believes that everyone holds her responsible for what happened to Kelly, which has turned her into a bitter and twisted woman. She then exits the hospital, distraught. Scott peers through the glass at Kelly, his eyes welling up with tears and pain. Ollie enters the kitchen and announces that she will be meeting Howard that evening. Sean enters and expresses disapproval of Ollie's relationship with Howard, requesting to meet him first. A knock at the door prompts Sean to peer through the letter box and inquire as to who he is. Sean looks him up and down and mutters to himself as Ollie answers the door. Angie extends a warm welcome to him. Seth and Reggie are at the Woolpack, where they are chatting about horseracing and live-in lovers. Zak convinces Jack to perform an illegal favour for him. Bernice discusses her plans about Alan and Tricia with Diane. One of her suggestions is to share a room with Diane, but Diane objects, claiming that sharing a room with Diane will interfere with her love life! Andy approaches the Reynolds' house, preparing to speak with Ollie. He then discovers Ollie is in the company of Howard, and his plan backfires. Betty is diverted by Reggie and Seth's conversation. Kathy is at Kelly's bedside. Roy has reservations about Kelly's love for him. Roy is enraged that Kelly desired death rather than bear his child. He confides in Kathy, expressing his fear. Kathy makes an attempt to reason with him.
