Herb Kastner was one of the tourists who fell for the Dingle family's scam in March 1999. Whilst Stella Jones and Eric Pollard were away, Zak Dingle told one of his mates to bring a coach of tourists to Home Farm, dressing up as tour guides and telling the tourists that they are at Bostwick Manor, and charge them an entrance fee. The tourists explore the mansion but then "remind" Zak that they were promised an audience with the lady of the manor. Zak begins to think the scam will fall apart but is delighted (along with the tourists) when Mandy Dingle pretends to be the lady of the manor, wearing one of Stella's fancy dresses.
