Janice Turner was the ex wife of Terence Turner. Janice met and married Terence sometime after 1985. The couple never had any children, and by 2006, they had been separated for around two years. In February 2006, Betty Eagleton phoned Janice regarding Terence but every time Terence's name was mentioned, Janice hung up so Betty and her friend, Adam Forsythe, decided to visit Janice at her home in Hull. When Betty and Adam turned up on Janice's doorstep, a terrified Janice feared Terence had sent them so she slammed the door in their faces then called the police. PC Parker was dispatched to Janice's address and explained to Betty and Adam that Janice had an injunction against Terence and their presnece may breach that so they left.
