Jeff Longman was the owner of a vacant shop which Zak, Marlon and Butch Dingle squatted in in November 1996. The owner walks in on the trio squatting in his shop and gets the police, but is told be must give them three days notice before getting a reprosession order. A few days later, he arrives with three heavies; Raymond, Billy and Razor and gets them to throw them out of the shop, unaware Marlon has stolen the keys for the back door.
In October 1997, Jeff begins a criminal partnership with Eric Pollard, but when Marlon finds out that Eric's wife Dee plans to call the police on Jeff, Marlon warns Jeff who beats Eric up.
