Steve Halliwell (born Stephen Harold Halliwell on 21st March 1954 in Bury, Lancashire, England) is an English actor best known for his part in ITV's Emmerdale as smallholder Zak Dingle, a role he has played since 1994.
During the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, he featured in a number of UK television shows, including Here I Stand, Threads, Crown Court, G.B.H. and Coronation Street.
Steve is married to Val Halliwell and has 2 children.
